Welcome to Real Proper Singing Lessons!
Are you one of the many people out there who took singing lessons, but didn’t really notice any impressive improvement in your singing? Did you take lessons and yet, you still strain your throat to reach high and low notes, or you still sound tight and nasal, or you are still running out of breath? Do you keep looking for a good singing teacher, jumping from one teacher to another, but you still cannot express yourself easily when singing? Unfortunately, there are many singing teachers out there who apparently have had voice training themselves, but lack performing experience. Or they are experienced performers, but cannot teach music notation and theory. However, a complete singing course must not only teach you technique to express yourself artistically, it must also teach you how to read music. Here at Real Proper Singing Lessons, we teach you the following:
Where to REALLY breathe from in the diaphragm. So many really don’t breathe the real proper way from the exact correct place to coat and support the sound they are making.
How to REALLY open your throat. You might think you are opening your throat when you sing, but most times, we notice here in our studio, you really still are NOT opening it wide enough. We will show you how.
How to REALLY relax when singing. Again, you think you are relaxed but are NOT. We teach you the real relaxed state and with relaxation exercises
A REAL PROPER SINGING LESSON should include teaching you how to read music and the basic rudiments of music. If you can talk, but you are unable to read and write the language, then your knowledge is incomplete and you are still ill-equipped. Learning the rudiments makes you a better singer, we promise you!
The good news is, here at Real Proper Singing Lessons, we teach technique to facilitate expression and we offer a complete course where you go away being able to sing well and confidently, and being able to write and read the music language!
